Campaign Story
On 9/22 a driver was not paying attention to the road and hit Huey. I was standing in the road waving my arms and yelling stop, but the guy wasn't paying attention. He stopped after hitting Huey, but as soon as I grabbed him he drove off.
Kurt and I rushed Huey to the vet where they took amazing care of him! He had a fractured pelvis and a large would next to he rectum, which had to be stitched close. He was sent home later that day with an antibiotic, two pain meds, and a stool softener.

Update posted by Molly Urbain at 11:43 pmHuey had to be taken back to the vet yesterday. His wound that was stitched closed opened up. His wound ended up being infected because his antibiotic wasn't keeping up.Huey was dehydrated and losing weight as well. He has lost 1lb in 5 days.The vet did his surgery this afternoon. . . . .
