Housing for college

Hi everyone, My name is Shontell Dixon and as of last June I am proud to say that I have made it through the last four years of high school. And even prouder to say that I have been accepted into the school of dreams, Texas State University!! When the letter came in the mail, it was as if all the possibilities of a bright future were standing in front of me. I was accepted into their fine arts and communication program as a theater major and hope to earn my BFA in four years time. All this summer and even into my senior year. I have spent working , to save money towards my college education. But of course not everything earned could be saved due to me having to take care of various expenses in my house hold due to having a disabled parent. Unfortunately I wasn't able to schedule an early orientation as well, due to work and other family issues. So when I actually did go. I missed all the housing opportunities and won't be able to stay on campus, even though it is required for me to do so as a incoming freshmen. I contacted the housing office and they told me my last resort was off campus housing. And with school coming up in the next 5 weeks. I am afraid I won't be able to attend without a place to live. The cost of getting an student apartment off campus is way too high and out of my price range. With your help I will be able to pay off the first few months rent. Which would buy me time to find another job closer to school and contribute to my stay as well. With your help my dreams can once again be in reach.
