Hospital for Poor in Bihar (India)

The health status of people in Bihar, is still a cause for grave concern, especially that of the rural population which is also reflected in their life expectancy rate. The burden of disease and its effects disproportionately seen in the poor, with a clear ingredient in illness and mortality with a crisis in Bihar.

There’s lack of diagnostic centers in villages; due to which patients, especially the serious ones have to be carried along long distances that results in their deteriorating condition or even death.

Shortage of funds is a major drawback in public health system.

Too many girls and women in Bihar die as a consequence of pregnancy and childbirth, and too many lack access to high-quality life-enhancing healthcare. One-fourth of all pregnant women still don’t have access to a skilled birth attendant and quality health services.

Our campaign is designed in a holistic manner to provide best of the facilities to the most under privileged section of the society in Bihar. We are building a hospital which shall be best suited to the aforementioned section with quality economic facilities.
