Hope for care

This is a message on behalf of Angel Nnua:

 After graduating, one of my parents joined two of my siblings who were already mentally and physically challenged (paranoid schizophrenic and Down syndrome with speech deformity) to be down with dementia disease.  My dad who had retired due to old age and sickness managed to start and run a small business then join to become a carer with me.   As time progressed, dad started falling ill very often thus could no longer run his business which also was dying, had to shut down the business.  Numerous friends and family members gave various types of support both in cash and in kind, but soon could no longer continue maybe due to their own challenges over taking them.  I could no longer continue for job search to support financially so I had to stay back and continue to care for mum, dad, and my 2 brothers with little or no financial or other kinds of support.  Presently family properties (house, cars, etc) and all that the family had, have all been sold for treatment and for survival.  There are also no more aids or support of any kind coming from anywhere.

 I started to look at alternative means of raising steady finances for the family and one of them is running a project that can tie around my care routine so I can both bring in money to support family and myself.  Though as am busier with family, I was able to observe that there is no support centre where people that are having similar experience (i.e. caring for family members who are experiencing long term sicknesses thereby taking away the time for going out to work for a living so as to cater for their social, medical, personal and other needs) as mine.

 Therefore I am asking for your donation no matter how small or big it is to help me develop this centre.  This will help me to take care of registration, space, equipment/facilities etc.  I am working towards raising $35,000+.  The donation will not only help to start a centre for children and adults with long time illness, but will also use to support other people that are experiencing similar difficulties like mine.

 The only gift I have to give back is a thank you message and an inscription on the centre, of your names, companies or charities (if you wish) that donates towards this project.
