Homesick Hurricane Katrina Survivor

Hello my name is Nikki Bergeron. I am a Hurricane Katrina survivor from New Orleans, Louisiana. Since August 29. 2005 I have lived in Gainesville Georgia, Arden North Carolina, Asheville North Carolina, Boone North Carolina, Hickory North Carolina, and lastly Myrtle Beach South Carolina. I  have raised my only son on this long journey of 6 different places of residency, dealing with FEMA. We were homelss 3 times because FEMA did not pay the rent under the housing programs we were assigned to. The Fair Housing Act was against us after Hurricane Katrina, but we had to follow the rules.  This journey was a test of time, but I am THANKFUL that GOD was with us the entire time. My son now lives in Savannah, Georgia, and is doing well in college one more year left. I sacrificed myself for my only son. I did not want any of what happened after Hurricane Katrina to touch my son, emotionally or phsycially. I took the burnt of the entire Hurricane Katrina Blues. I am now suffering with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Severe Depression, Suicidal, and Bi Polar Disorder. I am tired and I want to go HOME to New Orleans, Louisiana. So that I can get the proper Mental Health treatment for all of my Mental Health issues. I am so far removed from the Gulf Coast Region, that I am not getting the proper Mental Health treatment. I want to see my only son become successful, and I want to see my only son have his own family with my grandchildren. I am asking for HELP because I have picked myself up by the bootstraps since Hurricane Katrina in 2005. But the rug was snatched from underneath me again on March 16, 2013 in the Windsor Green Fire where 26 buildings burned to the ground. I suffer with my Post Traumatic Stress Disorder due to Hurricane Katrina, now the fire has compounded my mental state, and I need HELP. I have made sure my son was taken care of, and now it is time at 49 years old to take care of me. Praying that the best is yet to come, with Gods grace and mercy on my life. To God Be The Glory. I have to go back to New Orleans, Louisiana where the Mental Health Counselors have seen and treated Hurricane Katrina Survivors. I do not want to end my life. I just want the pain to STOP.
