My Mother and I live together on a fixed income, she is retired and I am on disability.

Our house is in desperate need of repairs.

There is no lights in the house except my bedroom due to a faulty breaker from a previous reno, and we have to use lamps around the house as our light source.

The electrical outlets in the upstairs portion do not work except for my bedroom.

The upstairs bathroom has clogged drains and no running water, and the toilet leaks down into the kitchen which means I can't use it, and have to go downstairs where my mom's room is to use her bathroom.

The second upstairs bedroom has no heat and a broken thermostat, and has a very poor paint job.

Carpeting throughout needs to be replaced due to pets clawing it and just general us, as well as new tiles and flooring in carpetless rooms, and my bedroom needs to be repainted.

Windows throughout need to be replaced because of the lack of clarity even when clean, and some just won't open anymore.

Moreover it needs a modern face-lift especially in the kitchen and upstairs bathroom.

In addition, I am in need of a place of my own, and would like to renovate the basement as an apartment for myself, leaving my bedroom and the second upstairs bedroom available for guests and boarders as extra income

The basement or course is not without its problems. It has a leak, and the stairs need to be replaced.

I am looking for serious backers only and set the fixed donation amount to $1000, for 100 people to donate, more is always welcome beyond the goal as we also have debt.
