High Society Spa&Nail bar

Hi everyone, I'm a 28 year old female and I graduated with an Honours degree in Criminology 2 years ago. For the past couple of years I have been struggling to secure a job in the Police force, let alone any job in any industry. Job hunting can really be daunting and can lead one to lose hope because our economy has not been doing so great and as a mother of 2 I cannot afford to lose hope. To further exacerbate the situation, the whole world has been hard hit by Covid-19 which will lead to more job loses ultimately increasing our unemployment rate. In addition, my business partner has recently faced retrenchment from her long term job.

However, we have always had a goal of establishing our own business and contributing to the economy and by creating employment, despite the many hurdles that we face. We have been trying to open a spa and nail bar in our community but funding has been a stepping stone.

Furthermore, to us this is more than just starting a business as High Society we seek to empower women with skills that will always remain with them. We are passionate about job creation and empowerment, even if we just employ 10 people we know that 10 families will have a plate of food on their table. When one empowers a woman you empower a nation, therefore High Society will constantly seek to afford opportunities of growth for the women who will be employed by us at no cost to them.
