Campaign Story
Little Denay is just 1y7m old from the small village Kassies Baai community in Arniston. She fell into the bath when her pen she had in her hand fell in and she tried to reach for it... mommy turned for one second. She spend 2 months in intensive care at The Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital in Cape Town.
Her Family are doing everything they can, and spending as much time as they can with her, but it is a 2h30 minute drive from the hospital to their home and with the high costs of petrol alone, the ordeal is so much harder.
She has been in an out of the operating theatre as the amazing staff at the RCWMCH do everything they can to locate her infection and treat her injuries.
The Arniston community has been supporting Denay's family with small direct donations for Airtime & Petrol so that they can stay in touch and visit, however, they need so much more for medicine and many challenges to come as her wounds heal and settle.
This page has been set up with the blessing of Denay's Family in the interest of spreading the plea wider than its current reach. Please consider supporting Denay and her family with even the smallest of donations.
