Campaign Story
There is that saying that everything happens for a reason right?
Well... While we were at the shelter picking up another death row pup, here walked past this little old grey faced Pitty. Away went the texting to all the Volunteers saying "Do we have room, he's a senior and landed at the shelter right before Christmas"
We'll exactly at that moment an e-mail came directly into our office from that shelter. "Hey Rugaz, One of your previously adopted dogs from 8 years ago was surrendered at the shelter, didn't know if you wanted him back he's older.?"
Well guess who it was! It was that same dog, and you better believe we want our dog back!
Sometimes things happen in life, out of peoples control. We understand that, but never the less we picked him up, and right back to his original foster mom he went.!
However everything has not turned out so cheery this Holiday season for our poor Steele. He's a little rough around the edges as were working to clear up a skin and ear infection, but we found out some devastating news. Steele is Heartworm Positive and needs to start treatment right away.
With all the adding up of medical bills, and emergencies we were not in a position to take on another Heartworm Treatment, but Steele was ours. He wasne't being left behind, and now that he's a senior he needs help more then ever.
Can you help us start Steele's heartworm treatment so we can make him a happy healthy senior and truly find him a forever home?

I worked for a rescue and we always took back our dogs that ended up back at the shelter often MANY years later. It was always a big expense when we could least afford it so I appreciate you re-rescuing Steele. Wishing him much luck!
