On October 13th,2019 I lost my beloved dog Prince after 18 1/2 wonderful years together.After the pain started to ease I began to search for a way to immortalize his memory while helping animals in need.Initially I became a donor to a couple of online dog charities who focused on rescuing dogs in Thailand and China.But this was not enough.I did not feel that sense of purpose and this was not preserving Prince's legacy.I needed to do more....but how?
Perhaps what followed next was destiny.I came across a young Iranian fellow,on Instagram,who had put aside his law career to save homeless street dogs.Could this be the chance I was looking for....
After several months,of following his daily videos and progress,I decided to advance him some monies in order to build a shelter with the intent of housing between 30-40 dogs,providing them with good medical care,and finding them new homes.It is now over 8 months that we are having great success and many of our rescues have found new homes overseas in Canada,The US,The UK and Europe.
My shelter is up and running.But the costs are ever increasing as Iran still faces many economic challenges.I hope to be able to raise a few hundred dollars,on a monthly basis,in order to assist,and expand, the Prince Animal Shelter and allow for the addition of employees and constant improvements.
