The service is also beneficial to the community because it will reduce the number of people seeking treatment unnecessarily, and it will reduce the morbidity and death of individuals who are truly at risk.

As medical institutions and hospitals may soon be flooded with new cases due to the COVID-19 epidemic, this solution can help reduce the burden on the health system.
Preventing people from seeing a doctor unnecessarily when they don’t need it is very important during a pandemic, as it leaves overburdened health workers to take care of those who really need help.

This is a volunteer project of doctors and so far it has been funded by their own funds.

The doctors who run this web service work in the Croatian public health system, the use of the service is completely free and this funding campaign is the only way to sustain and further improve this project.
