Helping needy Singaporean school children

Currently, for every two Singaporean children who can afford private tuition, there is one who can't.

You will recognise this kid in the classroom, struggling to keep up with his schoolwork, paying close attention to everything that's being said in class, but giving up in frustration because the privileged ones with access to after-school tuition, end up disrupting the lesson without sparing a thought for their classmate who isn't so lucky.

This campaign is jointly run by a few school Teachers who have recognised the need to level the playing field for these underprivileged kids. In a country where class sizes are over 40, private tuition can make the difference between a pass and a fail.

This money raised will be used to sponsor 10 of the most hardworking students from a particular school in Singapore for private tuition classes throughout the 2017 academic year.

Every kid deserves a fair chance to excel, and this is one way we can all help to ensure that this becomes a reality for the parents who always sadly end the Parent-Teacher Meetings with "I wish I could afford to send my son for tuition".
