Helping Creature Breathe Correctly!
The time has come! Creature is finally stable enough to move onto the next step of his medical progress! Mr Creature needs his soft palate resection, both Stenotic nares corrected ( To open his nostrils on both sides) and neutered while under anesthesia.
Unfortunately, due to Creatures spinal injury and inability to control his bladder/feces at times he can only go under anesthesia once. Recovery for spinal injury dogs is much harder and can take a few steps back in progress so it's very important to have all of Creature's surgeries done at once.
Recovery is going to be a long-slow process but once Creature's palate and nostrils are corrected he will be able to breathe normally ( We don't think he even knows what a normal breath is like!)
Mr Creature has come so far from the little, emaciated boy who could hardly stand and just flopped over when he first arrived at RRinc. He's now blossomed into an amazing, sweet, bubbly boy who's now confident, gained muscle mass and able to hold himself up and walk distances without falling and found a best friend in a tiny 3 legged blind chihuahua, and 9 week old puppy.!
We are so thrilled to help Creature on the next part of his healing journey and cannot wait to finally let him know what it will be like to breath without struggling.
Can you help us make this next part of Creatures health journey come true?
