Campaign Story
In my street there was a lovely little family with 2 little boys. There house wasn't big enough for there second child so in 2011 they decided to renovate so the 2nd little boy could have his own room. During renovations the builder ripped off the roof to build the second level and overnight placed many small tarpaulins to provide cover for the house.
For a week straight there was monstrous amounts of rain which built up over time on the tarpaulins and then eventually gave way flooding the whole house. The house was ruined and deemed not liveable.
The builder was then declared broke so couldnt do anything about the house and still owed contractors money. A truck driver who removed soil off construction sites for this builder then seeked revenge on the builder by placing a semi trailer full of construction waste including soil and various metal objects 2 metres high on the front of the suburban property.
The couple who was taken in by a local church allowed them to rent one of there safe home properties to provide shelter for there family but every weekend they would hire a skip bin and come and shovel every bit of construction waste until it was gone which took neally 30 skip bins to get rid of costing them thousands in rental for the bins then for the disposal.
I keep in contact with this family and would love to provide some finacial assistance so they can move back in as soon as possible. They have had such a rough time the last 2 years. They house is still just brick walls with no roof so any money towards it would make it a quicker return for them!
Would love to give this to them as a Christmas Present!
Thankyou so much!
