Helping A Disabled Vet and His Family

In 2006 I received a military related injury that left me permanently disabled, chronically ill, and terminal. After receiving care at the VA Medical Center for several years my wife and I thought I would have a better prognosis, or at least a chance at a better life, receiving care in the private medical sector, outside of the VA. We paid out of pocket for two years for medical care outside of the VA. I was treated better and I was also getting better treatment for my symptoms but we just could not afford it anymore and we went into deep debt. We also lost our home for these and additional reasons. We were notified recently that my illness is terminal. We also just found out my wife has lost her job. We are reaching out in the hopes that we can raise enough money to secure this family. To help alleviate some of the stress financially during these uncertain times and such negative prognosis.
