Campaign Story
Ajila is an amazing young self-taught Cello player who’s dream has been to study Music.
His tunes are inspirational and had healed many out of depression. Ajila is so great at playing the Cello, that if you hear him play, you will say he is the next YO-YO MA
In 2015, he amazed everyone with an out of this world performance during the SICM festival, his tunes at the festival was so good that Stellenbosch University offered him an opportunity of a lifetime, an unconditional admission to study a bachelor’s degree in Music (BMus).
Unfortunately he could not afford tuition and accommodation then, so he had to defer the admission, and he’s at the verge of losing it this year due to insufficient funds. He has been raising money and with the help of friends and family, he has been able to raise 2000 dollars and needs 6500 dollars urgently to get registered.
