Xylein Chen Herrera is a teeneager known as "Helo" by her family and friends is a young Pop and Reggae artist born in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, but it was the bustling tourist destination of Boracay that she developed her musical tastes and interests. Playing numerous crowded venues around the island she became a hit amongst the locals and foreigners alike.
Xylein then got the chance of joining The Voice Kids Season three and made it thru until the Semi Finals of the Competition.
After the competition, Xylein did not stop singing and continued her singing career at Palawan Puerto Princesa city.
Xylein has been patiently waiting and planning to travel from her home in Palawan to Vietnam to sing and play in Vietnam where the virus lockdowns are dramatically easing. She was days away from going twice last year but sadly the travel restrictions tighten on both attempts.
She has been hoping and praying to take part in a Charity Benefit Concert for Agent Orange Victims in Vietnam since she was just eleven years old.
She just turned seventeen and also has gainful employment opportunities as a swimming coach as she's spent her years growing up near the sea and swims like a dolphin! There's a serious situation in Vietnam where as many children can't swim and drownings occure every day.
The amount needed for her to fly to Vietnam obtain the official immigration paperwork, quarantine for two weeks will be more than the five thousand Singapore dollars but Xylein inspite of the lockdowns on Palawan the past fourteen months has managed to save some funds of her own.
Please help support her with any amount you're able to as her aspirations deeply rooting in her are to assist a segment of the Vietnamese population that's been historically marginalized.
Thank you kindly for taking your time to read about the mission to "Help Get Xylein To Vietnam To Sing"!
