Help with rent for a single father needed

I am a 30 year old single father of my 6 year old daughter in which i have had full cusody of since she was born. I am currently a full time student at our local community college. I have a very low income. After catching up on property taxes to avoid going into default, i have now fallen behind on my land contract rent payment to the tune of $590 with a 10% late fee. I have too much pride to ask for handouts so not even my own family knows of this struggling situation. I have turned to DHS for assistance and was denied. Many of the systems and policies in place are ment to support single mothers and dont seem to assist the single fathers that step up. In this case that would be me. Im asking for any help possible and would be willing to repay any funds donated. Thanks for reading and thanks for helping. It means alot to me and my daughter. Take care
