Help with medical expenses

I have set up this fundraiser for my dear friend Alycia as she and Eric care for their precious baby boy through his fight for life at Children's National Medical Center. I want so much to help them, so I asked if I could please set up a donation account to offset some of the expenses they are incurring through this extended stay in ICU. They hesitantly but gratefully accepted my offer. Funds go directly to Alycia's PayPal account. Donations and/or prayers are humbly appreciated.

Joshua was born March 7, 2018 with Down Syndrome, PDA and narrow aorta, and Atrioventricular Septal Defect (AVSD) which will require open heart surgery within the next 2 weeks. This precious "Heart Warrior" has been in ICU since birth. He has endured multiple complications and one heart surgery so far. His first heart surgery was for the PDA repair. This surgery was not fully successful and leaves him currently in heart failure and with an open incision. The doctors are monitoring him, waiting for the incision to close (with the help of a wound vac) and hoping he may grow stronger to better endure the open heart surgery he desperately needs.

Throughout Joshua's struggle, his loving mom and my dear friend, Alycia, has been recovering from a very difficult cesarean surgery. Alycia and Eric have stayed with Joshua feeling helpless and terrified as they wait for each update from his team of doctors.

Alycia and Eric are currently staying at the Ronald McDonald House so they can be with their precious son. The expenses of medical co-pays, parking, food, and other incidentals are beyond what they imagined.
