Help with Chris’s Medical Bills

Hello.

My name is Christopher Brown Jr. and I am setting this fund up for my dad who underwent an appendectomy last September which cost us about $13,000. And then a few months later in late December, my dad Chris was rushed back into surgery for a complication from the appendectomy surgery where an adhesion strangulated his small intestine causing bowel obstruction. In total we were billed upwards of $22,000. My parents have spent the last four months fighting the hospital and insurance to lower the minimum payments are what they demand is nearly impossible for our family. Just this week after a review of our case came in, after the discount due to income and after what the insurance paid they require a remaining $10,000 to be paid in full by the end of 2016. Chris is 49 years old and cuts and polishes granite counter tops at a local marble and granite shop, he is albino and is legally blind and rides his bike to and back from work everyday. He truly loves what he does and hopes to continue doing it decades to come. He is proud and spiritual man, and he has no idea I am setting this fund up for him however I know he needs help. I go to CSU majoring in business and live with my parents, even though we live paycheck to paycheck they insist on providing for me while I'm in school and trust god to provide for them. This amount may seem little to many of you, however is substantial to our family and with six months to pay it all back we are in need of help whether Chris admits it our not. Thank you
