Well it all started when I left my job 10 years ago, I was doing end of life care and I had seen my fair share, said so many good-byes that I had to change my career as it was heart-breaking every day. I started my own dog walking company, it grew so quickly that I realised I had to start getting employees, all went very well for some time, but then one of my employees left which wasn't unusual, its when the customers started to leave slowly, telling me their circumstances have changed and they no longer need a walker, but I later found out the walkers who worked for me had approached them and were now walking their dogs. but I continued to work at my business. it started to happen too many times so I decided to go to a well known HR company. They set me up with new contracts and restrictive covenants. once again I had another 2 people leave and take my customers, so this time I decided to go to court. that ended quite badly as I was told the restrictive covenant was not enforceable and not worth the paper it was written on. by this time this was the 9th person to do this to me, one of which I had helped her out by buying her a car to enable her to work, turns out she had wrecked the car and it was returned to me in an unfixable state so I had to get recovery to collect it as it was unable to be driven. I continued to struggle through wondering why I had been treated so badly by people I had helped out so much. I also found out that my accountant had not registered me for vat when he should of, so I insisted he do it straight away and back date it all as I didn't want to not declare it all, well my honesty resulted in me getting a 10K fine which I had to pay back on a payment plan. I found a new accountant and she was trying to help sort it all out that is when I discovered that the HR company I had signed up with had tied me into a 5 year contract that I could not get out of, I had complained many times to them as the paperwork was not worth anything to me and was not preventing walkers from taking my customers, I was told that was 25K to release me from the contract, they were asking for £400 month which I could not afford due to wages, vat fine and current vat payments, along with all the other outgoings. by this time I was trading insolvent and I was at the end of my tether and didn't know what to do. My new accountant suggested the only way forward is to contact a liquidator, My business that I had put 10 years into and all my savings had to be shut down. I was devastated. I have lost faith in human kind as I don't understand how they can treat someone like that.

I have since started up an online vape company with the hope of opening a shop and run it by myself with my husband. people have not been very nice to me over the years and I have been told its because I am too kind, but I was always told to treat people how you would want to be treated.

I have very little money left to start my new venture but I just want to provide for my children and give them a good life.
