Help Wallace Rebuild His Life

INTRODUCTION
Hello Charitable Community!

My name is Wallace and I am seeking charitable donations
which will enable me to rebuild my life.
I am a recovering alcoholic who is in the process of completing a 9 month intensive treatment program which culminates in May/2014. Additionally, I want to raise awareness of the devastating
effects of the "disease" of alcoholism and how it has adversely affected my life.

DOWNWARD SPIRAL

Prior to my downward spiral, I was a Real Estate Tax Appraiser and Agent,
who drank socially and lived, what most would consider a "normal" lifestyle.
Over the last 5 years, my habit escalated to daily consumption of alcohol and I became
dependent on it just to function as a "normal" human being. My personality gradually
transformed and I became aloof, isolating myself from family and friends. I spent the majority of my money  frivolously on "spirits", neglecting bills and major financial obligations. After attempts to mask my addiction, my family became acutely aware of my "disease" and persuaded me to admit myself to the hospital for Detox treatment.
This temporarly proved successful, however, after a month of "sobriety" I began to drink again.
Consequently my life became  a "revolving door" of entering in and out of Detox Centers,
interspersed with sporadic respites of sobriety, only to abuse alcohol again.
During the course of this tumultuous period in my life, I lost my job, car, apartment and
amassed a sizable debt of $10,000 to the IRS. On a few occasions I was rushed to
the Emergency Room for complications from severe withdrawal symptoms and hypertension
which nearly led to my demise.

 HITTING "ROCK BOTTOM"

The begining of the end occured
on December23, 2012 when I was stopped by a local police officer, breathalyzed and subsequently charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI).
I was ordered by the County Magistrate to complete a mandatory jail sentence of 30 days, pay restitution of $2,500 dollars and had my driving priviledges revoked for a period of one year.  
Upon hitting " rock bottom" the jail time I served provided an opportunity for serious introspection
of my life and the events that have led to my downfall.
With the guidance and support of family and friends, I entered, and graduated from an intense residential treatment program (September/2013).

Thankfully, with God's invervention I have experienced a complete metamorphosis in my spirit
and thought processes which has removed my compulsion to drink.

RECOVERY/ INTENDED GOAL

I am currently in a transitional housing program, and nearing the final phase of treatment.
Although, doing extremely well in  my recovery I have accumulated  a considerable amount of debt
and face the prospect of being homeless.
Therefore, I am humbly asking for $6,000, which would productively be used to  :

 (1) Secure an apartment and pay rent for 2 months
while searching for employment in my former profession.

(2) Restore my driving priviledges in order to find a job.

(3) Pay off my treatment fees and court costs.

(4) Reduce my debt to the IRS.
