News agency for social good

Social TV (www.social-tv.co.za) is a South African online multimedia news channel, which is five years old and focuses on corporate social responsibility (CSR), corporate social investment (CSI), shared value and sustainable development. Our mandate is to drive social cohesion and share good news stories but inspire hope and societal change.

Over the years our news agency has evolved to create opportunities for young people and journalism graduates so that they get work related experience and training to further their careers. We are slowly venturing into learnership opportunities for students who have a passion for media.

Social TV needs financial support to continue telling these #socialchangestories. We also see ourselves as a platform to help companies and organizations to identify collaborative opportunities.

We are slowly being recognised for playing a vital role in telling these amazing stories and wish to continue doing so.

We are calling on change agents who believe in the narrative of telling good community, corporate and organisational stories will create a world that has platforms sharing good news instead of just bad. #socialchangestories.
