Help us stay together

This is us. And this is our story.

We met in February 2013. On my 18th birthday and we've been inseparable ever since. Unfortunately, we lived on opposite sides of the country and for the past 3 years our relationship has been long distance. It was hard, but we made it work and managed to save enough money for him to move to Zagreb (where I'm from) and for us to move in together. We even adopted a kitten together!

However, our happiness didn't last long since the apartment we originally found was starting to turn into a nightmare. The walls were damp, mold started to grow on them. We needed to get out of there as soon as possible. After being disappointed several times because we either couldn't afford anything or being rejected for having a pet, we finally found a cute little apartment we could share. His parents, who are also struggling financially, helped us put greatly by loaning us 500$.

But that's not the end of it all. Me being a student, I have a scholarship to pay and I just lost a job that was somewhat helpful in covering the expenses. Him being transgender, we have medical bills piled up. Plus the rent, the bills and general life expences. Our fridge is almost empty and with everything we need to pay, we won't even have any money left for food...

Right now we're facing a great chance of being kicked out of the apartment and being separated once again. We're turning to all of you for help since you're our only hope we have left.

Please help us get through this rough patch and keep out little family together.
