Campaign Story
It's hard to imagine leaving your dog or cat at your local grooming salon and being told to meet a store's manager at the vet clinic. It seems to be a heart breaking trend on the rise within the industry as well because there is no real educational or certification requirements that a professional groomer must possess.We are seeking to change that.
Our family firmly believes that educating the professionals who care for our pets on a more regular basis then veterinarians is vital! Our immediate goal is to raise the funds necessary to be able to buy the manikins and materials needed to provide a first aid/pet CPR course. Which will include the necessary material relating to medical conditions pets may be suffering from; medical terminology so that participants may be able to more clearly and effectively communicate concerns with veterinarians; and disaster planning to groomers, animal handlers, as well as, pet lovers alike. Thereby hopefully saving the lives of distressed dogs, cats, and other common household pets.

This something that I've wanted to do for long time! I want to help the community on a higher level than just making pets look pretty (although I I must admit it's one of my favorites). I take my career seriously and want to make sure that other professionals and pet guardians alike have the necessary knowledge and tools to respond accordingly to serious, life threatening circumstances that pets in their care might face.
