Help us get Home!

Have you dreamed of living abroad?

I was given this opportunity in 1997, but it turned into a living nightmare as 
I have so far been unable to get home.
I married a man who turned out to be a control freak and bully, eventually forcing me to make the heart-wrenching decision to break up our family in 2004 and take refuge in a shelter for domestic violence victims. More about this part of the story can be seen on my web site:

Unfortunately, this was not the end of my nightmare as I spent nearly £40,000 in legal fees and court costs only to be denied on several occasions the right to move home to the USA with my six children.

My children have not been permitted to have more than a casual relationship with the USA (of which they are all citizens by birth) and their American relatives including their grandparents and uncles.

This year, 2013, I am determined to get home as my daughters are being denied appropriate dental treatment in the UK. But as a long-time housewife dependent on spousal maintenance, child maintenance (both of which are likely to vanish when we return to the USA) and government benefits/welfare with little chance thus far to better myself, it is a very difficult thing.  Not to mention the fact that at the moment, at least, my boys will not be able to join us - though it is my hope and prayer that this will change very soon.

My move home will cost a lot of money as I need to buy flights for my 2 daughters and myself (approx £700 each).   We will only bring what we absolutely must of our belongings and rebuild once we get there.  Shipping is fairly expensive and I'm budgeting £2500-2900 bringing the total for the move itself to about £5000.  (Will need more if the boys are lucky enough to be able to join us.)

Anything raised beyond that will go towards setting up home, training myself to become a "field inspector" so that I can become financially independent and to "pay it forward" through my web site offering help to other victims of domestic violence become survivors and escape their situations.

Please help me end my nightmare and fulfill my dream of returning home so that my parents and my children can have the sort of relationship that all grandparents and grandchildren should have!
