Help us feed vulnerable families facing hunger because of Covid 19

Orange Farm is a township located about 40kms from Johannesburg .A lot of families in the locality were already living below the poverty datum line before the Covid-19 pandemic struck.Now the situation has only gotten worse with most breadwinners out of jobs or belonging to the informal sector which is currently under a lot of strain.

It is becoming almost impossible to put food on the table for hundreds if not thousands of families.At Megas In Motion (234-106 NPO) with the kind help of donors and well wishers such as yourself we have started distributing food parcels to households with focus on the elderly ,women led homes and youth headed homes as they are the most vulnerable at such times.We have realized that as we distribute more families are coming out in the open to request for assistance,the need is great and it is not an easy thing for someone to come out and say they do not have food for the children.Hence the call out , to all who can help.This help can be in the form of food parcels which we will distribute or in cash for us to purchase the food and distribute.
