help us beat eviction

I've worked really hard to be where I am today. My name is Nadia and I am a twenty-three year old student anticipating a master's degree in psychology so I can help as many people as I can rebuild themselves and their life. I have a seven-year-old daughter who is brilliant and beautiful and my best friend. I had her when I was sixteen years old and not a lot was expected to come from me afterwards but I dedicated myself to giving the both of us everything we deserve in this life.  I'm able to go to college and support myself through the use of grants and I am extremely thankful for that opportunity. In the past, I have worked jobs and went to school as well as take caare of my daughter but I wasn't successful at my education that way. I had to make a decision to work or go to college so I can support us sufficiently and I chose school. I pass my classes and I retain a 3.3 GPA.

I have been trying to get out of my apartment and into someplace new (and affordable) for almost two years. My landlord has raised my rent to over a thousand dollars (for a two bedroom apartment in an average area) and I can't afford the rent, but I also can't afford to leave. Last year was my first year at a univeristy (I came from a community college) and to my surprise financial aid works slightly differently. Whereas at a community college I get new aid for the summer term, at university I have to cut into the aid I get year-round in order to attend for summer term. Because I didn't know that and I couldn't budget my grants, this summer I wasn't able to go to school so I had to live off of the remainding balance of what I recieved during my prior terms.

I have managed to have july and august's rent, but I don't yet have september's. I have taken advantage of the amazing resources nearby to help me pay my electric bill but I am not eligable for help again until October. I have some pending shut off notices, but most vital to my and my daughter's well-being is having rent for september.

I go back to school in the fall and will recieve my grants/income on the 20th of september, which is good. It will allow us (I hope) to finally move into an apartment that is beneficial to us, as well as catch up on my bills and pay my rent/debts off like normal.

I am asking for your help (pride/embarassment aside) to help me pay my rent and keep my daughter and I safe. She'll be going into 2nd grade in September and I want her to be able to still have her home and, ideally, not know that we are struggling. Anything, even dollars, will help us and I would be extremely grateful for any kind of donation you could spare in order to help us reach our goal.
