Help to fund my volunteering in Palestine!

Dear all, finally I got a great opportunity to experience a dream, that is contribute directly to peace between Israel and Palestine.

In 2012, FFIPP (Faculty For Israeli Palestinian Peace - www.ffipp.org) arrived in Brazil and I feel honored to have been selected to participate in the Internship Program 2013, which lasts 5 weeks and brings college students to know the local reality and volunteer with the Israeli and Palestinian NGOs.

During the internship I will work with organizations involved with children and youth education, which courageously strive for transforming their societies towards a peaceful coexistence with respect and dignity.

Returning to Brazil I intend to share my experiences and hopefully contribute to a better understanding of the reality of this conflict, that I consider central and structuring of contemporary globalized world.

In order to realize this dream, I'm using my personal savings, but I still need $ 1,500 to complete the cost of the Internship Program.

Ajudem a financiar meu voluntariado na Palestina!

Olá a tod@s, finalmente surgiu a oportunidade de vivenciar um grande sonho, contribuir diretamente para a paz entre Israel e Palestina.

Em 2012, a FFIPP (Faculty For Israeli Palestinian Peace - www.ffipp-brasil.org) chegou ao Brasil e eu me sinto honrada de ter sido selecionada para participar do Programa de Estágios 2013, que tem duração de 5 semanas e leva estudantes universitários para conhecer a realidade local e voluntariar junto a ONGs israelenses e palestinas.

Durante o estágio trabalharei em organizações que atuam na área de educação de crianças e jovens, e que se empenham corajosamente para a transformação de suas sociedades em prol de uma convivência pacífica, com respeito e dignidade.

Voltando ao Brasil pretendo compartilhar minhas vivências, na esperança de contribuir  para um melhor entendimento da realidade deste conflito, que considero central e estruturador do mundo globalizado contemporâneo.

A fim de realizar este sonho, estou utilizando minhas economias pessoais, mas ainda preciso de 1500 dólares para completar o custo do Programa de Estágios.
