Help these Brothers get to FINA World Swimming Champs in South Korea

Hi there!

My brother Michael McGlynn and myself Chris McGlynn have both qualified for the 18th Fina Open Water Swimming World Championships in Gwangju, South Korea. We will be competing on the 13th July 2019.

Not only have we both qualified, but we are the first brothers in the history of South African Swimming to compete at the same world champs, for the same race. We have both been swimming for over a decade now, overcoming injuries and turning setbacks into comebacks. Unfortunately this trip is not fully funded and we are seeking financial assistance in order to fulfil our dreams and to make our country proud.

We are committed to this sport, which we love so deeply. We are currently in the best shape of our lives and ready to race. Countless hours in the pool along with huge sacrifices have been made in the hope of turning our dreams into reality.
