Hello! My name is Hannah, and I am, again, fundraising on this website, this time with a sustainability goal. I am looking to fund the costs needed to start my new business, a tutoring service to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) to Non-Native English Speakers (NNESs).
I recently decided to pursue a career in educating NNESs, and have started my business, Non-Native English Speakers' School (NNES School). I have a unique business model, which includes affordable and flexible prices, a wide open schedule on most days, free of charge help and natural conversation with me outside of lessons for students who have a lesson scheduled, and a passion for teaching, which is nearly unrivaled by any who are my age and have my level of experience (see below in the descriptions).
The costs associated with running a small personally owned business are often expensive, but most of mine have been taken care of by a generous patron of the cause. A second generous donor has given their old ESL textbooks from their time as a teacher. I currently have a number of textbooks of all different subjects in English, a printer (with ink, but no paper), and business cards.
I must, however, pay for advertising costs to get more students, textbooks for teaching those students, printer paper for printing assignents, and my TESOL Certification(Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) which will cost approximately $300, but will teach me how and what to teach, and how to do so more effectively.
Please read the following description of NNES School, look at and "like" or "follow" my links. If you have any questions regarding my campaign, feel free to contact me at [email protected]
Who is the teacher of NNES School? I, Hannah Ames, run non-Native English Speakers’ School (NNES School). I have studied many languages in my lifetime, including, but not limited to, French, Russian, and Classical Latin. I understand that English can be a very difficult language for many, and I know what it is like for a language to be difficult. I understand the grammar, vocabulary, and meanings of English, and I want you to understand them better!
What does NNES do? NNES School is a small personally owned business, which teaches non-native speakers more fluent English. I can help you whether you are a beginner and need the basics, an intermediate learner, or if you are advanced and want to increase fluency. I also include many helpful links on my Webpage and Facebook, which are free of charge, because I want you to succeed.
Why should you choose this school? I have always loved to teach, and after many years of teaching various things, I have decided to make a career of it. Because I have studied many languages, I am able to communicate with you better than others who only speak English. I also understand what students need from their teachers, and I know what to expect from students who want to learn; a good challenge! If you need another reason, here is one: I offer free online/phone/text help to all students who have regularly scheduled lessons. Who else offers that?
How much does it cost? I am very affordable, and offer flexible prices, depending on your level of study, and how much you can afford to pay. I accept PayPal, cards and cash.
When is NNES School open? NNES School has flexible hours. I can start as early as 8am and end as late as 11pm. If your schedule changes that is ok. If you give 48 hours of notice, I can schedule a lesson for whenever you are available. Schedule today, while time slots are open!
Where is NNES School? I am located on the 2200 block of North Colorado Street, Philadelphia PA 19132 that is near Temple University campus. I am also located online, for those of you who are not in Philadelphia, PA or otherwise cannot travel.
