The Stellenbosch University Chamber Choir (SUCC), conducted by Martin Berger, has been invited to be the Artist Choir in Residence at the 2017 World Youth and Children's Choir Festival in Hong Kong which will take place from 17 to 22 July 2017.
The festival aims to provide a platform for top-tier choirs and choral experts, in order to build up a solid global network of choir festivals and associations from all around the world. Young choristers are also encouraged to pursue excellence in the choral singing spirit, to celebrate peace and cultural diversity.
SUCC is a diverse group of 40 students from Stellenbosch University. The festival has already sponsored a generous amount towards accommodation and meal arrangements in Hong Kong. It is now our aim to raise money towards travel expenses, a cost that many students would otherwise not be able to afford.
Your support will enable all members to travel despite their socio-economic background. Your donation, no matter how big or small, will go a long way in getting SUCC to Hong Kong!

The chance to exchange culture, share music, and create new and lasting friendships is immeasurably valuable to all the choir members. It is my hope that you reach and exceed your target in no time at all!
