Help small family get ahead

We are a small family of two who honestly have never really had it easy. Aiden is the kid that has been in daycare since 3 months, and I the full time working mom for forever ...with little to none assistance.
That said, we really do the best we can to find joy in day to day life and forever grateful for what we do have.
They say money will follow where passion leads.. well I recently took a leap of faith, listening to my heart and following a dream to be of service to underprivileged.
I resigned from my full time work to pursue what I felt was an absolute undeniable calling.
I made a high risk investment which was meant to yield high rewards, enabling me to provide for my son and I whilst I dedicate my time being of service to those in need.
Needless to say I lost our money to scam artist and have subsequently put myself and my young son in a dire situation.
I feel utterly helpless as I write this.
All we are able to do now is ask for help.
It has been soul crushing putting so much faith in something I believed was good, to have it turn out as such a life shattering event.
We really need a second chance at this.
With your help I can actually get our life back on track.
