Please Help Save Grandpa’s Eyes

Hi, I’m a young mom who found herself alone in a family emergency. I’m gathering funds for my father’s eye surgery. He’s suffering from glaucoma, an eye condition that causes permanent loss of vision. My father needs to go under operation next month. If they wait too long, glaucoma causes irreparable eye damage or even complete blindness.

Here’s a few words about myself: I live in Budapest, Hungary. I have a 10-month-old daughter, Alex, who’s super attached to me, so I am unable to go back to a full-time job yet. In spite of this, I still manage to do some part-time social media work from home, while baby is sleeping, but that income is just enough to support the two of us.

We've just recently moved here after living and working in Asia and the United States. The reason why we moved back to Hungary is that I wanted to return the happiness and love I got from my parents by allowing them to meet and to be involved in raising their granddaughter. I want my father to be able to enjoy the sight of his grandkids for many years to come. Unfortunately, I can't count on my partner, as he told me “to figure out a solution by myself,” and now he’s nowhere to be found.
