Local Veteran Needs Saving!

There is a working Veteran in our town who is quiet and modest in his ways. When he graduated from high school he immediately enlisted to serve our Country. Upon his return he found himself down, and homeless. His disabilities, lack of education, and financial disparities leave him with limited resources. After working several part time temporary jobs for several years and saving as much as possible he finally got an apartment. The pride in this man's face for his success and hard work could warm even the grinch's heart. Although has no car, and walks to work everyday he has an optimistic spirit and heart. His current temporary job ends this December. They are calling for a bad winter this year, and Our humble Veteran is having a hard time finding a job in this economy with his skills, and within a narrow mile radius from his home. He shamefully admitted his fear of losing his hard earned apartment. He doesn't own a TV, Computer, or many materialistic needs that a lot of us take for granted. All he has to his name are his clothes, a bed, a table and chair, and a few dishes. This man is not proud, angry, or pityful for himself. He is truly grateful and blessed for what he has.

How Can I Help?

A group of Christ centered individuals have decided to help provide him a Christmas miracle this year. Together we would like to raise a modest $5,000 for a used "buy here pay here" car so that he can expand his job search beyond the radius of his home, and avoid the need to walk in poor weather. The catch is this gift will be completely anonymous and a huge surprise. He is a kind, friendly, and deserving man, who would never expect anyone to do anything for him, and is ALWAYS willing to give what he has to others.
