Hi, we are a group of volunteers helping out a school in remote jungle of Chiang Mai, Thailand. The school needs help to pay teachers, the salary of a teacher is about 5,000 Baht ( about USD 150 / EUR 130 / SGD 200) a month.
With the help of volunteers and friends, we managed to pool a sum of money to hire teachers for the children, but are still short. We need about 40,000 Baht more so all children will have a teacher dedicated to them in each grade, giving them sufficient attention and quality education.
Lion Rattanakosin school in Mae Wang province Chiang Mai, houses 88 children of Karen ethnic minority. Kruu Na, a dedicated school principal wants to help ethnic minority children in remote place. She believes in quality teaching, build good student character, and she has all of our support.
Our works in the school ranges from enabling the school to raise funds on their own account, to giving quality teachings to student. Like the School Stay project whereby the school sells room to tourist, organic farming techniques, and waste management.
All proceeds go direct to the school's account.
