Our Buddy Diesel, our sons best friend, the anchor of our family is ill and needs urgent surgery as his only chance of survival. He has been at the vet since 28 January and nothing to date has helped him. He hasn’t eaten in 5 days as he is unable to, there is a possible obstruction in his large intestine and he can only be saved via surgery. He will be 3 years old this year and putting him down is not an option as he is part of our family.

Diesel joined our family when he was 7 weeks old and has grown up with us since. He has a heart of gold and is the most protective dog that our family could ever be blessed with. He has fought off many snakes to protect us all and never misses a run alongside my son riding his bike. His nickname is Buddy because he literally is my sons best friend. He asks me daily Mom when is Diesel coming home, is it today? Our household has come to a standstill as we don’t know what the next day will bring or what feedback we’ll get from his Vet. She has been amazing however has told us that surgery is now his only chance at survival.

We as a family plea to anyone who is willing to donate and support us as this is a very difficult time for us. We are not shy or embarrassed to ask for help, We need to bring Diesel home.

Our aim is to raise as much possible closest to the target which is an estimate overall cost for his surgery and recovery.

If we are able to reach our goal, anything over our target will be donated towards the need of other sick animals who are in need just like Diesel, in our surrounding areas.
