Help once save two

My name is Thu Zar. I have been working as a staff nurse for four years in Singapore to support my family back home. I have been staying strong alone for numerous years to support my family. When I conceived my babies, I was planning to go back to deliver my little twins in Myanmar. Unexpectedly and unfortunately, I elon 30/7/16 at the gestational age of only 24 weeks and 4 days.

They were extremely premature with both of them weighing at 700 g and 780g each. They have been brave little warriors to have strived through this battle for as Long as 4 months.

Twin 1 had stayed in hospital for 3 months and has been discharged on 26.10.16. He stayed in Intensive care for 2 months and spent his last 1 month in Special Care Nursery. He also has prematurity related complication such as bilateral hernia and stage 2 retinopathy.

Twin 2 had been in Intensive care for 3 months; 1 month being intubated and on intensive Machine to assist his breathing. However, he is now stepped down to special care nursery with no oxygen requirement. During the stay, he developed a great deal of complications related to his prematurity such as necrotising enterocolitis (presumed), hole in the heart (moderate size patent ductus arteriosus), eye complications (stage 2 retinopathy of prematurity) and bilateral hernia

my little warriors have come a long way, they have longer journey ahead of them. Both twins need to be followed up in Myanmar for eyes treatments as necessary and operation to correct hernia.

As I am a non-resident in Singapore, the bill for both twins has summed up to 150K and 200K each.

I have been working here alone away from my family. My husband is in Myanmar who is working as a general worker. Therefore, the amount of 350k is simply beyond my means. With the love of well wishers, prayers, family, friends and colleagues, I was able to raise the fund up to 80K and my little twins have become superheros . I am endlessly appreciative and extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the wonderful change makers.

In addition, I would like to express eternal gratitude to the medical team and Nurses for your excellent medical and nursing services. Not forgetting the emotional support and encouraging words that were expressed while the twins and myself were facing such a big challenge. Thank you for spurring us on, helping my little ones to fight for their life battle.

I have only "thank you" to say to all the kind souls, who gave me a chance to experience motherhood and my sons a chance to be a living miracle.
