Recently (on 30th Sept) we have rescued a community cat from our neighbourhood - my family calls him Oreo,
to the vet for treatment of a noticeable injury but was admitted for treatment of an open wound with surgery to clean and close the wound the next day. However, it was further discovered with more wounds with suspected dog bites. One of the wound is infected with maggot growth and requires removal of the dead tissues. Initial discharge was expected to be 7th Sept but a 2nd minor surgery is required due to further infection, with further need of dead tissue removal. As of to-date, estimated bill size is $2.7k+ or more, excluding follow-up treatments etc.
Oreo was discharged today from the clinic after admitted for 11 days with medications and follow-ups with the clinic.
Invoice for Oreo’s treatment:
Have reduced the funding amount as the clinic had help to provide discounts that reduce the cost significantly.
We are not from any organisation/shelters but an individual. Any amount received is helpful in paying her bills.
Any balance from this funding campaign will be donated to a shelter or volunteer groups.
Thank you in advance.
