Help My Mother Get a Car

I realize times are extremely tough for everyone right now, but I'm afraid my mom's in a bit of trouble. After years of a turbulent abusive marriage and my brother and I on her own, my mother finally filed for divorce to escape from my father. Things are strenuous still for my family, but we manage.

The only thing that truly holds us back is the fact that her car of almost twenty years is ready to just die- with no available substitute. The engine is constantly on the fritz, the windshield is crack across from frame to frame, the dashboard and paneling are peeling away, the windows don't roll down, there's no heat and very little A/C (mind you, we live in 110 degree weather) and her brakes are barely legal. 

My hope is that I can repay her for all that she has done for me before I leave the nest this summer. If you could help in any way, I would be eternally grateful.
