Support a Venezuelan Medical Student with his living expenses!

Hello, Hola, Olá!

First of all, my name is Mario Salas. I am a 20-year-old venezuelan medical student in Brazil since march 2017.

I decided to move to Brazil because my homecountry is going through a tough economical, political and humanitarian crisis right now. There's lack of food, medicines, the salary decreases each and every day because of hiper-inflation, criminality has destroyed families, even mine, and many other critical problems. I've put a video to show up what's going on in my country.

My mom is a self-employeed who makes desserts and party foods, however, since there's lack of food and everything is getting more and more expensive, plus the economical control developed by the goverment of Nicolás Maduro, neither she or my relatives are able to send me money, they can't afford it. Before leaving I had to sell my ownings in order to live the first months in Brazil, but I'm running out of that money now.

I went to India as an exchange student of Rotary International forma a whole year, where I could improve my English skills and get personal enhecenment. This experience thought me a lot about myself, plus, it took me to where I am nowadays.

I study medicine at the Universidade da Integração Latino Americana (UNILA) and I'm in loved with my career, my grades are quite good and myfaculty adequates to my "dreamed university". Even though, Brazil is a little bit expensive, I can't get a part time job because my student Visa doesn't allow me working at all. Even if I could, I'd lack enough time to work and study at the same time, my career requires too much of dedication and full-time study. Another of my dream is to become a polyglot person; I actually speak Spanish, English, and am getting used quickly to Portuguese now!

So far, I've done everything as possible to reduce costs at minimum level

*Fortunately I could rent a room located 1.5km away from my university so I can go walking to save money in buses.

*My rent costs 300 reais (100 USD) monthly.

*I try to spend 160 reais (53 USD approximately) on basic food monthly but it has leaded me to loss weight due to improper nutrition (Vegetables are so expensive here!!!!)

As said above, I have walked a long path to reach this point, I'd like to fund myself by my own effort, but sometimes we need to ask for help. I would be so grateful if you could help me to keep paying my debts for the rest of the current year and to live in better conditions to achieve my dream of becoming a polyglot Medical Doctor!!
