Campaign Story
I was living in Lebanon and try to handle the live there under all the problems that start from a long time ago.
I tried to found work there but I cannot get any.
I wasn't able to live, so I decide to move to Canada and start a new live and start an online business.
But, I'm out of everything and I need some help.
Lebanon is currently facing a devastating financial and economic collapse.
There's no fuel, Wi-Fi, electricity, bread, milk, or medication.
There are over 4 million people at risk (and I was from them)
Lebanon has:
- No Water.
- No Medicine.
- No Food.
- No Electricity.
- No Internet.
- No Diesel.
- No Government.
- No Access to Banks.
- Currency 90% of value.
- $29/Monthly Min. Wage
- No Jobs.
- The Basic Salary in Lebanon is now as low as $29/month
- It's becoming impossible for people to survive.
- Lebanon is living through one of the world's three worst financial and political crises since the mid-19th century. (World Bank, 2021)
- Around 77% of households in Lebanon cannot afford to buy enough food (UN, 2021)
- Poverty rates exceed 50% (World Bank, 2021)
- More than 71% of the country's population is expected to lose access to safe water (UNICEF, 2021)
- There is a severe shortage of medical supplies in pharmacies. Hospitals are on the brink of collapse (CARE, 2021)
- The currency has lost 90% of its value since 2019
- Lebanon currently has the lowest minimum wage in the world at $29 per month (CARE, 2021)
I don't want to leave, But they are forcing me to.
