Last Friday, my mom, 49, was diagnosed with breast cancer again, after being 8 years cancer-free.  She began receiving chemotherapy today, and will need several more rounds of it and radiation after. 

I leave for college in early September, which is 300 miles from home.  I am looking for any assistance you can provide in funding my travel to and from home several times during the term. I have a car to use but am looking for help with gas money ( as I am that typical broke college student).  I really want to be able to be there for my mom, coming home on the weekends to make pre-made meals for the rest of the week and clean and disenfect her house as well as provide emotional support through this difficult time.
