Help Me To Keep My Job

Hello, my name is justin. i have been unemployed for about 2 years. I have 2 associates degrees in the 
electrical field, but have been unable to find a job, that is, until the end of last year. I was able to get 
a job delivering newspapers. It isn't a job in my field, but i am greatful to be working again. The 
problem is, for me to keep working this job, i must have a working vehicle. My car broke down last year 
and it is not feasible to fix it, and due to storage fees and towing i had to give it up to the shop that 
was going to fix it. i have a wonderful girlfriend that i live with and she has been nice enough to let 
me use her car for the last 6 months, but it has over 250,000 miles on it and has been having alot of 
problems recently. She is a poor college student herself, so she cant really afford to fix her car 
everytime it breaks because of me and her both having to use it. I really need to get a car for myself. i 
dont need anything overly expensive or nice. i have found a good running car that is very cheap (it is 
being sold by a mechanic, so i know it works well). I have very bad credit now, from being unemployed and getting behind on bills (as many people have been the last few years), and there is no way i can get a loan (not even a small one of like 1000 for a down-payment, i have tried). So i am asking for everyones help with my problem. I only need about 1000 for a down-payment on a car, i can make payments for the rest. so, please, if you can help me out i would greatly appreciate any help that can be offered. Thank you
