ONE SENTENCE SHORT SUMMARY
This is a personal fundraiser for $10,000 plus; 1. Up to $2,000 to start a nonprofit $7,000 plus to help others fulfill their bucket list wishes; & 3. $1,000 plus for myself.
My personal fundraiser is to raise $10,000 plus.
-- $10,000 plus is to help others fulfill their bucket list wishes after we fulfilled our own bucket list wishes.
-- The purpose of my nonprofit, Bucket List International (“BLI”) is for any one thing we do on our bucket list wishes (of myself or of my future board, staff, volunteers, etc. [the “we” above]), we’ll help others [the “others” above] get something done on their bucket list wishes. All bucket list requests must be LGBTQQ* family-friendly.
-- Up to $2,000 to start a nonprofit, Bucket List International or similarly spelled name.
-- Up to $1,000 will be used to incorporate in the British Virgin Islands (“BVI”). This will be the international PARENT non-government organization (“NGO”) called “Bucket List International, Inc.”
-- Why am I incorporating the parent NGO in BVI? Because I plan to be an expat (living abroad permanently) retiree until I die. I believe having my NGO world headquarters (“HQ”) at BVI gives me a lot more flexibility than in the USA.
-- Up to $1,000 will be used to incorporate in Arizona (AZ). This will be the American nonprofit subsidiary that will be legally called: “Bucket List International USA, Inc.”
-- $1,000 plus for myself
-- This $1,000 will be used to start my real estate investor (“REI”) business.
-- The profits from this REI biz will be used as seed money to start my travel business (which will consist of: travel photography, travel writer, travel blogger, travel videographer, and tour guide - five separate programs combined together from both the American Writers and Artists, Inc. [“AWAI”] and International Living.com).
-- This way I’ll be able to sell (almost) everything and travel the world! And travel the world alone (to “find myself”, etc.). Then I’ll decide what places I may want to retire, find my future legally married bride, and travel the world again with her (and for her) to show her my favorite retiree places to live at.
-- Also, while traveling the world, I can help people as I go my merry way, regardless of where I find myself.
-- Finally, I’m suffering from what I call the “George Bailey Syndrome” (yes, my take from the movie, “It’s a Wonderful Life”). Like George, I’ve got a travel itch I’ve not been able to scratch. Unlike George, who has money, had responsibility to his town (plus not wanting mean ole Potter to take over). I, however, have few responsibilities (never partnered, never married, no children, no job, and no businesses either - yet).
-- Note: The first $1,000 I’m using for myself (hence the “personal” part of this personal fundraiser). The 2nd $2,000 (for a total of first $3,000 raised) will be used to incorporate the BLI nonprofit.
-- Help me do all the above for others (and myself). Donate now!
* LGBTQQ = lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, & questioning.
