Help Me Teach English Overseas

Hello,

My name is Olivia Luman I am 24 years old and I am a resident of the beautiful state of Colorado. I have been given the incredible opportunity to travel to Thailand an Cambodia for three months to live in orphanages across both countries and teach English. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I am so beyond excited!

We plan to leave in January of 2018 and I can not wait to get off the plane and get to work. This has been a dream of mine for years now and I can't believe it's actually happening.

I am currently a CNA here in Colorado and so you are probably wondering why I would go to teach English. This is simply an opportunity to go love on kids who have no one to love them or spend time with them. Teaching English is just one of the many purposes in our team going. My teams ultimate goal is just to speak encouragement and preach the hope of the gospel to these kids and let them know that they matter as well as teach English. We will travel from home to home working hard and loving well. It's going to be amazing!

I am in need of help financially because I am still a medical student about to begin another semester of school. I am ready to jump into more of the medical field and I hope to take this skill to other help other nations someday.

The total cost of this trip is $6,110. That is what it takes to sponsor one person for three months.

If this trip is to become a reality I have to have all the funds by December 12th. I have gone to many local churches and businesses where I live, outside of Denver in hope to find one who finds joy and success in giving.

I am also hoping that you, persons whom I don't know but I'm sure of noble character, will be able to help us as well.

I understand that there are many causes in our current day that need help. So why partner with mine? There are so many people who can't physically go into other nations for legitimate reasons, or just because they like where they are at. Both are completely valid reasons and I understand. I also understand that there are people who find joy and satisfaction in sending others out to change and impact the world around them.
