Help me study abroad

Help me go to Australia/New Zealand for 10 weeks!

My name is Viviana Kenney and I am 16 years old entering a running start program at Green River community college. I am a young musician and I have been playing since the 6th grade. Over the years I've learned how to play 5 different instruments including the guitar, bass, violin, viola, and my personal favorite, the cello. I am very passionate about playing music and I would love to have a career in the musical field. As a musician, I would benefit from this study abroad trip because I will visit music and arts colleges like AMPA in Australia, and the New Zealand school of music. In Australia I'll also get the chance to visit the Sydney Opera House, an extremely popular landmark in Australia that is known for its beauty and musical performances.

While in Australia, I will attend Newman College, University of Melbourne for five weeks. While I'm here I'll take a history class to learn about the natural history of Australia, and the history of the people. In New Zealand, I'm going to study at Unitec University, the largest institute of technology in Auckland. During another history class, we will be taught about the Maori, the native Polynesian people of New Zealand, and learn their culture. I'll get to experience the natural attractions and unique urban environment that only these countries have to offer. As someone who has never been out of the country, this experience will surely be an amazing one that I would truly benefit from and never forget.

I would love to go out of the country for my very first time and experience the lives of others while also attending college classes to earn my AA degree along with my High school diploma at the same time. I'll earn 15 college credits total to go towards both of these huge accomplishments as a student, and soon an adult in the real world.

Along with this fundraising page, I am also going to be seeking financial aid and scholarships to show my dedication for this cause and unique opportunity that I will only have this chance to experience.
