I’ve been accepted into one of the top 5 fashion institutions in the world for their Fashion Art Direction degree starting this October. I had given up hope to attend but they have offered me 3000 EUR as I was one of their highest performing applicants! This is beyond my wildest dreams! Their students work for brands such as Gucci, Fendi, and Givenchy to name a few.
My name is Chelsea Pitt. I am a 21-year-old coloured girl from South Africa. Since before I could remember being in the fashion industry has been my dream.
My reason for pursuing Fashion Art direction, besides my love for the fashion, is the potential I see in Africa to be a major global contributor to this industry. This degree will give me the opportunity to learn about fashion internationally and allow me to bring these skills back to South Africa where I will pursue my passion in fashion textile production, local garment production and editorial publishing. I want to add value to local fashion.
What I need right now is 5000 EUR for my initial costs and then I will be left with 12000 EUR of tuition to pay off next year. The 5000 EUR will cover my immediate living expenses, visa's, insurance and my school registration. The news of the additional funding from the school's side has been so short notice which needs me to pay the fees ASAP.
I come from humble beginnings and all I want to be is an example for girls like me, that anything is possible. I am willing to do anything to make my dreams come true and growth is vital to what it takes to succeed. If you would prefer to contact me, my email is [email protected].
“Success cannot be pursued; success ensues. It flows as the unintended byproduct of efforts concentrated in the direction of a worthy cause.”

Thank you so much for reading my story and any contribution you can make to my cause, even a share goes a long way.
