Help me restore an old building

Hello. My name is Irina, I am almost 30 years old and I'm from Bucharest.

I started this crowdfunding to restore my childhood home. I lived there from 1989 until 1997 when my parents divorced. My father lived alone from that time until he passed away this year and I inherited this old house. The building has an interesting story. It was build in 1890 and it survived World War 1, World war 2 and 1989 Romanian Revolution and also 4 destructive earthquakes - 1940, 1977, 1986 and 1990. Unfortunately it wasn’t maintained at all in the last 20 years and now I want to restore it and keep the architecture as much as I can.

As you can see in the pictures, it was a larger building but in the communism time it was divided in two identical buildings with a common wall. The other half of the building was maintained during the years but my dad’s house it has degraded over time.

For the moment I started with the roof and my mom helped me with some funds.

There are the next steps : the sewerage network, gas and power station project, the sanitary and electric installation. For this I will need some approval from the city hall. I also need to repair the walls, the ceiling and the floor in the entire house, change the door and the windows. Some friends and my mom will help me with the disposal of the old furniture. We will need wood, cement, plasterboard. In my estimated expenses all of these will cost 20000$

The house is located near the North Railway Station in Bucharest, an area with many historic buildings that have a lot of stories. Most of the buildings were restored by their owners but this one is very damaged and it's important for me to restore it and live there. I wish that donors will visit Bucharest one time to see the final result and to make a tour in the area.

Here you can see photos of the house, outside and inside. My father was something between a collector and a hoarder so there are a lot of things there. I also have the last photo of me and my father and some childhood photos (my mother, my sister and myself) that were taken inside there.
