Help Me Record The World

Hi, I am a photographer from the UK and I run my own commercial photography business but my real passion is travel and wildlife photography. I usually pay my own way and asking for donations is new for me, so let me tell you why I am doing it.

In 2010, after a lot of hard work and saving I went on a trip to the Arctic and was lucky enough to get some photos of many of the species there including a lot of the polar bears. I didn't have the best equipment but the photos managed to get to the semi-finals of wildlife photographer of the year.

I have managed to upgrade most of my equipment and pay for another trip back to the Arctic in 2013, however the upgrade I require of the 500mm lens costs about twice as much as the trip itself.

I'm not sure I will get another oppertunity to go back to the Arctic so I want to make sure I can get the best possible images I can, and more than that, the better images I get can hopefully raise awareness for the Polar Bear and any other endangered species.

I have 10 months to raise the money I require and in return you can choose one of a selection of photos from my site to download as a desktop background.
